GROWING FROM THE ROOT: The Philadelphia Urban Agriculture Plan Release Party!

Looking for a fun and informative event to attend in Philadelphia? Look no further than FarmPhilly’s “Growing From the Root: The Philadelphia Urban Agriculture Plan Release Party!” This event celebrates the release of Philadelphia’s first Urban Agriculture Plan, which outlines the resources, policies, processes, and programs needed to sustain urban farming and gardening in the city for future generations.

This event will take place on Tuesday, April 25th at Bartram’s Garden, 5400 Lindbergh Blvd., Philadelphia, PA 19143 (Get Directions on Google Maps). Doors open on April 25, 2023 at 4:30pm, and the event runs from 4:30-7:30pm. Food and drinks will be provided, with vegan and gluten-free options available.

In addition to celebrating the release of the Urban Agriculture Plan, attendees will enjoy music by DJ Jamz and delicious food from South Philly Barbacoa & Jerk Park Catering. The event is ADA accessible, and FarmPhilly is committed to making the event accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities.
