Philadelphia’s Office of Sustainability is seeking proposals from applicants to administer their new community resilience grants program.
The community resilience grants program, directed by the city’s Environmental Justice Advisory Commission (EJAC), will distribute small grants to community groups undertaking projects to advance environmental justice in Philadelphia–including, but not limited to, urban agriculture and community gardening groups.
The administrator will develop a submission and review process with support from the Office of Sustainability and EJAC, select grantees, write grant agreements, and distribute funds.
Read a detailed description in the City’s Request for Proposals here. Proposals are due by 5 p.m. on November 19, 2021–please submit proposals via https://philawx.phila.gov/econtract/
This is an important project that could make a difference for environmental justice. Consider applying and share with your networks!
