Hi everyone. Wanted to let you know about an opportunity to apply for grants from Weaver’s Way Co-op’s Environment Committee. Applications are due March 3 and can be found at on their website

You can also find application forms at the co-op in Mount Airy. Grants between $100 and $500 are available to groups including community gardens who are working for “clearly identifiable public purposes resulting in tangible community improvement (examples include community gardens, environmental education, park and seed plantings). Priority will be given to projects that help address climate change.”

This is specifically for groups in NW Philadelphia (Mt. Airy, Ambler, Chestnut Hill, Germantown, Glenside, Roxborough, Fort Washington, East Falls, Blue Bell, Elkins Park, and Flourtown).
